Frustrated by your inability to get your community decision-makers and legislators to hear you? Learn how to better advocate for your specific issue at local, state, federal levels from a blue-ribbon panel, including Bob Palmer, PhD, former Staff Director of the Committee on Science, Space and Technology, U.S. House of Representatives; Brian Coleman, Citrus County Board of County Commissioners; Dave Cullen, Sierra Club lobbyist; Walter Green, Dunnellon Mayor; Dennis Jones, former State Senator; Whitey Markle, Chair, Sierra Club, Suwannee-St. Johns Group; Nathan Whitt, former Dunnellon Mayor. Â
The 3-hour interactive program will include a brief “civics†lesson to help people understand the decision-making process, and hands-on training on how to advocate for your specific issue with your local decision makers. Attendance is free, limited to 50 people on a first-come, first-serve basis.
